Petunia Puppy

This is sweet, sweet Petunia. We are not sure how old she is, but she still has puppy breath!! 😍

Animal control received a call that a mama dog and the baby were chasing people up onto their porches. When animal control got there, he found Petunia and her mom. They both ended up back at the shelter.

Tuesday night when I went around the dog room, I spotted this sweet girl standing outside of her mama's cage. She had escaped through the water bowl holder to be with her mama. They were kenneled right next to each other. Animal control separated them as he wasn't sure they would be able to medicate the puppy with her slightly aggressive mom in the same kennel.

Sweet Petunia spent the rest of the night in the office with me after I caught her. We had a few friends come out to look at her. We know she will not last long at the shelter. Look at that face!!
